On Saturday, November 2nd at 9:30 am, Time Bank members Suzanne and Frank Fredrick would like to share with others one of their favorite, close-to-home hikes in Valley Forge National Park. The hike along Valley Creek is wooded on one side with the creek on the other. It is about 2 miles round trip and flat, except for the occasional rock or two. Once the group returns to the starting point, those who want to head up-hill and into the wooded paths of Mount Misery (yes, that is the name), can come along for a more challenging few miles.
The meet up point is the far end of the parking lot off Route 252 in Valley Forge. "We will be waiting for you outside of our dark blue Prius. We tend to go rain or shine. It is good to bring water and comfortable walking shoes. A hiking pole never hurts. We will stay together and let the group set the pace. This hike is only about getting outside and enjoying the company of fellow Time Bankers." -Suzanne and Frank Frederick
