Forest Work Party and Potluck

Meet AMAZING GRAZING! Goatherds will talk about what it will take to have their goats get rid of the unwanted forest vegetation!

Come join our Land Committee members as we cull the invasives, enhance the woods, and create bird habitats and pollinator gardens. Yes, there is physical activity such as cutting and pulling invasive vines and plants, but you can also help plan what kind of native trees, bushes, flowers, and grasses we should purchase. We are going to start a nursery, protect our new plantings from the deer, organize educational discussions about forest preservation and/or tours. Bring gloves, clippers, loppers, hand saws, and boots - or we can supply some of these.

We will gather in the back of 2237 Kimberton Road.  Please RSVP if you would like to join us. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the land, meet some of our future residents, and find out about our project.  Please bring a potluck dish to share for a meal after we work a couple of hours.  Park at the Village Parking Lot at 18 Prizer Road, walk up to the Kimberton Road intersection, then up the hill six houses.
