Birds and Bees!
Wildlife Habitats in the EcoVillage
Discussion Group and Potluck
Come hear Mason Vollmer talk about ecologically-sound ways of managing our site to promote birds, bees, and other wildlife.
We have many micro-climates on our nine-acre site, from woods to active play areas, borders, community garden, front and back yards, and more. In keeping with our proposed EcoVillage Ordinance, we have a lot to learn as a community as to the best way to approach our work. We've also heard that East Pikeland would like to be a "Bird Town" and want to have a pollinator demonstration site. We can help, so let’s get started!
